I got happy mail today! It was a much needed pick-me-up. I have been having some fun with my camera taking photos of fabric. So if you like photos of pretty rainbow fabrics click into this post to see. :)

I ordered some of Craftsy's new Boundless Fabrics to try them out. I got the Boundless Blenders Ombre All Colors Pre-cut in the 6" width. Find it here.
I love the gradation of color in these strips and I am planning to make an epic Pixel Heart in a Pixel Heart Quilt in rainbow colors!
I would say these fabrics are comparable to Moda Bella Solids in that the color is printed onto a white base (as opposed to Kona where the color goes all the way through). In other words there is a definite right and wrong side to these fabrics. They have a very nice hand (in other words, they are soft to the touch).
The ombre effect on the Boundless Fabrics is repeated along the strip four times. So it is different from Moda fabrics in that way but this will work out better for me for my purposes so I am quite happy with that.
The fabric comes rolled up in this fabulous rainbow roll and shrink wrapped in plastic. I took the plastic off for my photos. I am very happy with my purchase and am pleased to recommend these fabrics.
My other happy mail that arrived today was this glorious bundle of Uppercase Fat Quarters from Studio 39 Fabrics. She has two bundles left at about 40% off.
I made some bags out of the knit print fabrics for my Etsy Shop and my own website so I am relieved that my supplies have been replenished. ;)
