Stocking the Etsy Shop for Christmas 2016

Hello! I have been sewing like mad lately getting things made for my Etsy shop for the 2016 Christmas season. My machine even decided she was going on strike yesterday but after a good cleaning, oiling and needle change she was back to work.

Here are some of the things I have been working on and recently listed and have for sale this season. New quilt and embroidery patterns are in progress as well. This post contains an affiliate link from Craftsy. If you click that link and buy it is possible I may receive an affiliate commission.

Fabrics in these pillows are Pixie Noel by Tasha Noel for Riley Blake Fabrics.

These inset circular pillows were made using a technique that I learned in Cheryl Arikison's Craftsy Class Inset and Applique Circles by Machine which I reviewed in this post.

I made this pie wedge pillow using the pie wedge ruler by Lori Holt that came in my Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop. I used this FQS YouTube tutorial to help me.

I made all these adorable Pumpkin Spiced Latte hoop art and mug rugs with a fun free pattern by Wild Olive. She allows cottage industry sales of her patterns which I love.

I used a big wedge ruler and a half yard bundle of "Cozy Christmas" by Lori Holt for Riley Blake fabrics to make two 50" quilted Christmas tree skirts and I still have fabric left for myself. :)

I used some of my long hoarded treasured Santa Gnomes by The Happy Zombie for Lecien fabrics to make these colourful and adorable Gnoma Claus pillows. I have crochet edged bias binding on some of them which I bought from Vintage Door on Etsy. The solid fabrics were in a Crayola box from Riley Blake fabrics in a recent Sew Sampler subscription box from Fat Quarter Shop.

When I was in Drumheller, Alberta on vacation this past summer I picked up a charm pack of JOL Scandinavian style fabrics by Moda at the local quilt shop. I mixed it with fabrics from my stash to make a quilted patchwork tree skirt.

Some closer looks at the Cozy Christmas tree skirts. I love these fabrics and colours. So fun!

I used a Jolly bar from Fat Quarter Shop in Sundrops by Corey Yoder to make this quilt. To counter balance the simplicity of the piecing I went to town with the quilting on this lap/throw quilt.

I quilted it with big blooms, loops and leaves in light yellow Aurifil thread.

If you see something you like please head to my Etsy shop to investigate further and please pin and share. :) I have updated my shipping policies to free shipping for all orders over $250 CDN. (About $182.50 USD after exchange)
