This is a quilt that my boss at work commissioned me to sew for her. It is custom made to her specifications. I am happy with how it turned out and I hope she is too. I'm pretty sure she will be.
This quilt is made up of traditional log cabin blocks set in a diamond pattern. It's owner plans to use it as a table cloth so it's a bit longer. I added the extra borders at the top and bottom before the outer border to get it to the right length. The fabric is Fa la la la la by French General for Moda. The thread is a Sulky blendable 100 per cent cotton. I was so happy with how well the colours in the thread went with the colours of the fabrics.
I am handing it over tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it lives up to expectations.
